A dressed up BIB

A dressed up version of the reversible BIB cut from a heavy weight printed canvas with a contrast inner in uncut chocolate cord.  Daniela ably demonstrates its layering potential combining a simple silk top, jersey skirt and tailored jacket.

Both BIB fabrics were found at Tessuti and were actually left overs from previous projects; the matt black ribbon for the ties came from Luccello.  The pattern is available now from my Etsy shop in Australian sizes 8-14.  For international customers a size conversion chart can be found right here.

new pattern BIB

The idea was to add an extra layer without additional bulk through the upper body and sleeve.  The end result is part vest, part apron, it's reversible and definitely keeps my middle section warm.  Throw over a cute little cardigan and you're all set.
